Btw, for those of you who don't know what Red Velvet and Hummingbird are, let me try to explain:
Hummingbird - A sweet, southern concoction of bananas and pineapple and sometimes pecans and coconut. Tastes a bit like banana bread and because it's so fruity, it's a little denser than the usual butter cake.
Red Velvet – Another classic flavor, this has lots of myths surrouding its origin. Some say it has Southern roots. It's tender and velvety textured, ours is made with butter and contains red food color as all classic recipes do. Many folks make it without cocoa but ours has a hint of cocoa for a unique depth of flavor.
