Of frostings and buttercreams

Those of you loyal Cupcake Truckers who were there right from the start may remember that our frostings, or toppings as we call them, were a bit different in the summer and early fall. The thick, rich, buttery toppings you've enjoyed over the winter were light, silky and...okay, so they were still buttery...in your mouth. Well, they're back.

Thanks to the changing of the seasons and the warmer temperatures, we'll be switching back to our more temperature-stable toppings. This also means that the Caramel topping you've come to know and love will be retired till next fall. Don't worry. We're working on a new caramel topping that can stand up to whatever spring and summer brings and will be unveiling it soon.
