Hello Cupcake Truckers! Today we're making a special trip to Hartford where we'll be parking for a couple of hours in front of The Bushnell.
Why? Well there's a cool event happening on a subject we enjoy...food. The Connecticut Forum Presents: Food for Thought featuring a panel of celebrity chefs. Anthony Bourdain, Alice Water and Duff Goldman. Just a few small names, no one you know :) Anyway, the event is sold out but we were invited to participate and we decided to brave rush hour traffic and go for it. We plan to be there from about 6/6:30 to 8/8:30pm. You know how traffic is on I-91 and we will do our best to get there on time. Hope to see some new faces today!
For you New Haven area Cupcake Truckers, we will be back out in Elm City tomorrow. We will try to bake some Hummingbird for those of you who've told us that you've missed them over the past few weeks.
